Awareness Conference on the Impact of Social Media

  An awareness seminar on "Impact of Social Media on Society" was organized under the auspices of TUWJ (IJU) at Akshaya Function Hall, Bhadrachalam. Local MLA Dr. Tellam Venkatarao, Pinapaka Constituency MLA Payam Venkateshwarlu, Telangana State Press Academy Chairman K. Srinivas Reddy, and General Secretary Ramanarayana were present and spoke.

Speaking on the occasion, the speakers said that there is a need to use social media responsibly for the benefit of society, and that the media's role is very important in conveying accurate information to the people. Also, journalists are advised to be vigilant in preventing false propaganda.

After the seminar, the oath-taking ceremony for the newly selected TUWJ (IJU) Bhadradri Kothagudem District and Constituency and Mandal Committees was held. On this occasion, Jagu Venkataratnam as President of Bhadradri Kothagudem District Electronic Media, Junumula Ramesh as Secretary, Seemakurthi Srinivasa Rao as Treasurer, Rajakiran as President of Bhadrachalam Mandal Media, Siva as Secretary, and newly elected committee members took oath.

The chief guests congratulated the new committee members and wished them to work hard to protect the rights of journalists and provide unbiased news to the people.
