Songs Competitions


 On the 80th birth anniversary of renowned film singer SP Balasubrahmanyam, Bhadradri Swaranjali conducted two state-level Telugu song competitions. All 50 singers sang on the track, and they were solo songs sung by the eternal singer SP Balasubrahmanyam. Dr. Tellam Venkata Rao MLA, Bhadrachalam, arrived as the chief guest. He gave cash prizes and mementos to the 10 winners.

 Punem Krishna Dora, Tippana Siddulu, Tandra Venkata Ramana Rao, BV Ramana Reddy, Anumandla Nagaraju, Challagulla Nageswara Rao, Avula Nageswara Rao and others participated. In the male singers section, Murali (Bhadrachalam) got first prize at 15000/-, second prize went to Vinay (Hyderabad) at Rs.10000/-, and third prize went to Peddi Raju (Burgampad) at Rs.5000/-;

 and in the female singers segment, Madhavi of Vijayawada, Krishna and Puri Jyoti got first, second and third prizes. Four consolation prizes were also given. Raja Babu (Padutha Teega fame), Jeevan Kumar, and Sarala Devi (eminent music teachers) served as judges for the event. Pokala Srinivas (Singer, Reporter and Bhadradri Swaranjali organizer) thanked all the officials, dignitaries and other patrons for extending their cooperation.
