The representatives of the United Forum of Adivasi organizations have called upon the Adivasi people of Bhadrachalam town to celebrate the International Adivasi Day programs to be organized on August 9 under the auspices of Bhadrachalam ITDA.
They said that the International Adivasi Day is an important platform to bring to the world's attention the problems faced by the Adivasi community, while also raising awareness of the Adivasi's rights, existence, culture, traditions, language, way of life, and development. The tribal community expressed its unity and stated that everyone has the responsibility to protect their culture, traditions, and heritage.
Rally and tribute programs
On August 9, at 9 am, at the Bhadrachalam Ambedkar Center, the day's celebrations will begin with flag unfurling and anthem-singing programs, paying homage to the idols of tribal martyrs Alluri Sitaramaraju, Gham Gantanna Dora, and Gham Mallu Dora.
After that, the rally will start from there via the bridge centre, and the rally will continue till ITDA Girijana Bhavan while paying homage to the idols of Queen Durgavati and Komaram Bheem in the old market centre. On the same occasion, he said that the ITDA road will be named after former MLA Murla Errayya Reddy and opened. Later, a meeting will be held on cultural programs and tribal development issues till 2 pm, he said.

Bhadrachalam MLA Mr. Tellam Venkatarao, TSFDC Chairman Podem Veeraiah, Bhadradri Kothagudem District Collector Mr. Ankit, SP Mr. Rohit Raj, ITDA PO Mr. Rahul, Sub Collector Mrinal Shrestha, DSP Arun Kumar, Bhadrachalam Sarpanch Poonem Krishna will be the chief guests.
The leaders of Adivasi Sanghas United Platform called upon the people of the Adivasi community, youth, women, students, and representatives of Adivasi Sanghas to participate in large numbers and organize the International Adivasi Day grandly and successfully.
In this program Adivasi Sanghas Aayika Vedika Convenor Tellam Ramanaiah, Co-Convenor Murla Ramesh Reddy, Kunja Dharmarao, Gundu Sarath, Punem Veerabhadram, Jagga Pullaiah, Irpa Anasuya, Visala Krishnaiah, Kunja Ramadevi, Kondru Sudharani, Varsha Vasanth, Kondru Veeraswamy, Kunja Santhosh, Chinta Aruna, Kanithi Radha, Gundu Chalapathy, Nitta Raju, Kangala Ramana Kumari, Kunja Srinu, Seelam Durga, Kunja Baby Rani, Mesram Vasanth, Ubba Venu and others participated.
